DUI And Alcohol-Related Offenses
Tom Camp has been representing college students and others charged with DUI and other alcohol-related offenses for 35+ years. He is particularly sensitive to the needs of college students charged with Underage Possession of Alcohol or UPA (often referred to as Minor in Possession of Alcohol or MIP). Although these offenses are misdemeanors, it is important to have a local attorney familiar with the practices of the local prosecutors and the tendencies of the local judges. Tom Camp is also experienced with respect to the representation of those charged with DUI who have also been served with a notice that their driver’s license has been administratively suspended and is acutely aware of the need for important decisions to be made within 30 days of arrest and service of such a notice. Tom Camp also has experience representing those charged with the felony offenses of Vehicular Homicide and Serious Injury by Vehicle in those circumstances when someone has been charged with a DUI resulting in the death or serious injury of another.
